About Brett

My name is Brett C. Hammel.  I am a Realtor and Broker/Owner of Hammel-Hagmann, Realtors.

My family moved to Erie, PA, in 1970 and I have called Erie home ever since. After several years in residential construction, I began my career in Real Estate and have been helping Erie County residents achieve their real estate goals for over 40 years. My wife is a native of Erie. We raised our two sons here, and they are now raising their children here. We love Erie – the lakefront, the seasons, the community! In my spare time, I enjoy boating, fishing, camping & golfing. 

I have worked in every aspect of the industry, representing sellers, buyers, investors, banks & the federal government in the residential market. I am also a Certified Appraiser who served on the County Board of Assessment Appeals for R.E. tax appeals. I was recognized as ‘Realtor of the Year’ for “accomplishments as a Realtor, business owner & dedicated member of the Erie community” by the Mayor, County Executive, and voted on by fellow Realtors.
